Walking in you can hear people enjoying themselves. They had a live band singing which added to the atmosphere! They only had one waitress and she was quick and polite. She was handling the bar and the booths! I initially ordered the chicken fried steak on the menu, however, they didn't have it in stock. The chef or one of the kitchen staff came out to talk to me and apologize for that! Amazing service. I ordered sandwich and it was great! The sauce was a little salty hence the one star off. I will always visit this place if I'm in town! Great atmosphere and great people!
Stopped here on our way back from Williams. Loved this local bar! We all had a different burger, all were delicious! We could see them being grilled from our seats! Best burger, bun & toppings. You can't go wrong. Looking forward to our next visit driving through Chino Valley!
Excellent lunch in this welcoming local bar. Darling bartender/server. A++ We enjoyed our Badass Burger & Jelly Belly Burger. Love that the chef brought our lunch. Yummy homemade (not frozen!) onion rings. Nice sound system. Fun music. Highly recommend!
Thank you Yelpers for helping us find this place. If you haven't been to an original 'honkey tonk' in decades, now is your chance. Only they have great service and food! And heads up, they ONLY TAKE CASH. however, they do have an ATM inside. And you are safe while using it. They also have a 0% alcohol Budweiser. And they have HH from 12-2 on weekdays. Everything comes out fresh, hot and cooked to order! Like sitting at mom's table. Oh. Was I the only short order cook for the kids? LOL. Outdoor seating available. They recently celebrated their 20 year anniversary. You're on your way for a hike, this is a great fueling station. And they offer a 10% discount for military discount! Support those that support the troops.
Soooo, I don't have any pictures of our meals as everything looked so good, I forgot I We plan on going back for Taco Tuesday so I will take pictures then. I had the SB-1070 burger and fries! So yummy, fries hot and fresh, burger had green chiles, bacon, pepper jack cheese and pico. Cooked to perfection! Hubby had ground beef tacos which were PACKED with meat, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Came with side of sour cream and hot sauce. These tacos were huge and corn tortillas fried perfectly. Bartender/server lady was super nice and helpful and made a GREAT margarita! My new favorite burger spot!! I will update with info from taco Tuesday, cannot wait!!
